QuestionAnswer
Mournful Feeling or expressing sadness, regret, or grief.
contaminate Make something impure by exposure to or addition of a poisonous or polluting substance.
shriek To utter a sharp shrill sound.
sympathy Sharing the feelings of another, especially in sorrow or trouble.
abiotic factors nonliving parts of an ecosystem, including water, temperature, soil, and sunlight.
biotic factors living parts of an ecosystem including populations and communities.
Compound Sentence A sentence made up of two or more independent clauses.
simple sentence A sentence made up of one independent clause.
