| Non fiction | books, magazines etc giving facts, information |
| Fiction | the class of literature comprising works of imaginative narration, esp. in prose form. |
| Characters | A person portrayed in an artistic piece, such as a drama or novel. |
| Narrative | Consisting of or characterized by the telling of a story |
| Plot | Also called storyline. the plan, scheme, or main story of a literary or dramatic work, as a play, novel, or short story. |
| Situation | condition; case; plight: He is in a desperate situation |
| Rising Action | a related series of incidents in a literary plot that build toward the point of greatest interest. |
| Climax | the highest or most intense point in the development or resolution of something; culmination: His career reached its climax when he was elected president. |
| Resolution | the act of resolving or determining upon an action or course of action, method, procedure, etc. |
| Foreshadowing | To present an indication or a suggestion of beforehand; presage. |
