QuestionAnswer
Setting The time and place of the action
Characters The people, animals, or imaginary creatures who take part n the action.
Conflict a struggle between opposing characters of forces.
Plot includes the Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action and Resolution.
Resolution Reveals how everything turns out
Foreshadowing a suggestion of what is to come later in the work (story) by giving hints and clues.
Author's Purpose to describe, to entertain, to persuade, or to explain (instructions).
Text Features format, headings, Boldfaced words, italicized words, boxes, graphs, charts, schedules, etc.
Name the 3 types of Conflict Internal Conflict, Between characters, Between a character or characters and a Force of nature.
Inferences Making logical guesses about the characters and events.
Chronological order Arranged in order of time of occurrence.
