antagonist a character in conflict with the main character or protagonist
character any person in the story.
flat character a one dimensional character who has only a few, easily defined traits. most minor characters are flat. not to be confused with static.
round character a well developed cahracter. usually a protagonist, not to be confused with dynamic.ussualy only one or two characters are round.
dynamic character a character who changes especially a big realization. not all protagonists are dynamic.
static character a character who undergoes no changes.
Stock/sterotype Character A character used repeatedly, often a stereotype- like the mad scientist of horror stories
Climax The hight point of tension in a plot, when the outcome is decided. it is at the point that the conflict is either resolved or the reader knows what the outcome is going to be
Conflict The central problem or issue to be resolved in a plot, involving the main character struggling
