What is a chemical bond? A strong attraction between negatively charged electron and positively charged protons
What are valence electrons? Electrons that interact with another atom's electron from the outer shell
What is a molecule? A discrete unit of atoms bonded together
What is an Ionic bond? A bond where valence electrons are neither gained or lost from another atom
What is a covalent bond? A bond where valence electrons are shared with another atom
