How can we know that it is a chemical reaction? When that object or substance is change color or gas given off or energy has changed and it's produce a new substance.
What word decribed a metal turning into rust? Corrosion
What do we get when limestone and acids react together? Carbon Dioxide
How can we form oxide? When metal used in fireworks will burn in oxygen with a particular colour.
Metal+Acid-> ? Hydrogen gas and metal salt
Magnesium+Hydrochloric Acid-> ? Hydrogen gas and magnesium cholride
What substance and gas are in a fire triangle? Substance that burns, enery and oxygen
What is in a fire extinguisher to cool the electrical fires? Carbon Dioxide
What is another word for burning? combustion
Fuel+oxygen->? Carbon dioxide and water
methane+oxygen-> ? carbon dioxide and water
What is hydrocarbon? When any chemical that is made of only carbon and hydrogen.
What is decompose? When chemical split up.
What made up starch? carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.
Can we split water into hyrogen and oxygen and how? Yes, using electrical energy.
How can we make the iron corrode more quickly? Why? We use acud ran because it contains nitrice or sulphuric acids which will made the iron corrode more quickly.
How can we test if that gas is carbon dioxide? Using a lighted splint, when the lighted splint put into carbon dioxide, the flame will go out straight away.
What is in water? Oxygen and hydrogen.
carbon dioxide = ...+... ? carbon + oxygen
What is the other way to make sure that gas is carbon dioxide? Limewater test, if carbon dioxide is mixed with lime water, it will go milky, if it's not carbon dioxide, it will stay clear.
What made up sulphuric acid? Oxygen, sulfur and hydrogen
Iron+sulphuric acid->? Iron sulphate + Hydrogen gas
Is it the best way to cool the fire by using a fan? No, the oxygen will make the fire bigger.
What substance form when magnesium is burn in the air? Magnesium Oxide.
