Heterotopy Change in the location of a developmental toolkit gene. Ex: Floral whorls, Bird feet
Hetrometry Change in the amount of a developmental toolkit gene. Ex: Darwin's finches-thick beaked finches, more BMP makes a thicker beak
Heterotypy Change in the kind of developmental toolkit gene. Ex: Mutation in coding region, creates different proteins. Some insects only have legs in throax, others have legs everywhere. Digitaless gene
