Your friend is sharing her new X box game for show and tell. You want to learn how to play the game. What could you say? How do you play?
You have done an art project that you are to talk about in front of your class. What could you do? Look at the class and talk in a loud, clear voice.
Your friend wants to play video games, but you want to go outside and play basketball. What could you say? I'd rather go outside and play basketball. Could we play video games later?
Your teacher is helping you with a math paper. She asks, "How can I help you?" What should you say? I'm not sure how to do this.
Your grandpa is talking about his fun vacation. How could you show that you are listening to him? Look at him and ask questions or make comments.
You need a ride home from school and your friend lives near your house. What could you say to your friend? Could I get a ride home with you?
You don't understand how to do the writing assignment. What could you do? Raise your hand. When the teacher comes over, you say, "Could you explain how to do the assignment again please? I don't understand."
Your teacher wants you to work with a partner. You want your friend to be your partner. What would you way to your friend? Would you like to be partners?
You can't find your sweater because you think you left it at a friend's house. What could you say to your friend? Did I leave my sweater at your house?
Your mom is sleeping when your friends come over? What should you say to your friends? Whisper, "Shh, my mom is sleeping. Let's go outside."
You didn't hear what the teacher just said. What could you do? Raise your hand. When the teacher calls on you, say, "I didn't hear what you just said?"
Your friends are talking about the game last. What could you say to join them? That was a good game last night.
Ashley brought her pet snake to school and you would like to know more about it. What could you ask? What does a snake eat? Where does it sleep?
You are selling candy bars for a fund raiser. Your mom's friend is at your house. What could you to your mom's friend? Would you like to buy a candy bar?
You are furious at your little sister because she broke your toy. What could you say to her? You broke my toy. I'm angry!
You see a basketball about to hit your friend. What could you do? Yell, "Look out!" in a loud voice.
You ripped you homework paper and need to tape it. What could you say to your teacher? May I have a piece of tape to fix my homework paper.
Your sister is watching TV. A show you want to watch comes on in ten minutes. What could you say to your sister? Can I watch my show that comes on in ten minutes.
