What is the formula for Speed? Speed (m/s)= Distance Travelled (m) / Time Taken (s)
If there is a flat line on a Distance-Time graph, What speed is the car going at? The car is stationary.
If there is a curved line heading upwards on a Distance-Time graph, What is the car doing? Accelerating
If there is a curved line heading downwards on a Distance-Time graph, What is the car doing? Decelerating
What is the gradient? The speed.
What does a downhill line mean? It is coming back toward the starting point.
What does a steep gradient mean? The object is going faster.
What is acceleration? It's how quickly an object is speeding up.
What is Deceleration? Negative Acceleration!
What is Velocity? The speed of something, and it's direction.
What is Instantaneous Velocity? The speed and direction of something within a given amount of time.
