Concession (p 4) the act of conceding or yielding, as a right, a privilege, or a point or fact in an argument noun
Raucous (p 5) rowdy; disorderly; harsh; strident; grating adjective
Pensive (p 6) dreamily or wistfully thoughtful; expressing or revealing thoughtfulness, usually marked by some sadness adjective
Dubious (p 4) doubtful; marked by or occasioning doubt; of doubtful quality or propriety; questionable adjective
Monotonously (p 22) lacking in variety; tediously unvarying; having very little inflection; limited to a narrow pitch range adverb (to make it an adjective, remove the 'ly')
Formidable (p 34) causing fear, apprehension, or dread; of discouraging or awesome strength, size, difficulty, etc.; intimidating adjective
