QuestionAnswer
Symbol A thing that represents or stands for something else.
Alliteration The occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.
Metaphor A figue of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
Simile A figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing to another another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic or vivid.
Personification Attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something not human, or the representation of an abstract quality in human form.
Argument A reason or set of region given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong.
Imagery Visually descriptive or figurative language.
Issue An important topic or problem for debate or discussion.
Claim State or assert that something is in the case, typically without providing evidence or proof.
Persuade To do something with reasoning or argument.
Inform Give facts or information
Entertain Provide someone with amusement or enjoyment
Reflect Think deeply or carefully about.
Chronological Organizing events in which one came first to last.
Playwright The person who writes the plays.
