Reading Fluency

Lisa was the kind of person
that everyone liked. she always said
hello to everyone she met. She
was very polite, and she always
shared what she had with others.
Tina was Lisa's sister. She was
the kind of person that nobody wanted
to be around. She was rude
to everyone she met. She never
shared anything she had, and she
took things that did't belong to
her. Tina never had a nice
thing to say to about anyone.
One day, their mother came into
their bedroom. "The vase on the
table downstairs is broken," she said.
"Do either of you know what
happened to it?" Tina quickly said,
"Lisa broke it!" Lisa said, "I
didn't break it, Mom. I don't
know how it got broken. Maybe
I can help you fix it."
"That's okay, Lisa," their mother said.
"I was just looking for an
honest answer. I know that at
least one of you is telling
the truth."
