adjective describes/modifies a noun or pronoun
descriptive adjective can describe age, size, color, shape, and origin
numerical adjectives can be written as numbers in number form
interrogative adjectives used to ask a question which, what, and whose

2 types of articles definite= the indefinite = a, an
indefinite adjectives Refers to all or any of a group of people, places, or things.
Adverb a word that describes a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. Can be fond anywhere in the sentence. Often ends with a -ly
demonstrative adjectives points out the thing it refers to this, that, these, those
Adverbs of time Answer the question when or how often. ex=again, today, and first
Adverbs of place Answer the question where. ex= above, inside, and within
Adverbs of manner Answer the question how or in what manner. ex= bravely, fast, and swiftly
Adverbs of degree answers the question how much or how little ex= almost, much, and quite
Adverbs of affirmation telling that the statement is true ex= indeed, undoubtedly, and yes
Adverbs of negation telling that the statement is false ex= no, not, and never
3 decrees of comparison positive, comparative, and superlative positive= first form comparative= more or -er superlative= most or -est
