tenant a person who rents an apartment or property from a landlord
current happening or existing at the present time
rental agreement a signed form that tells what the rental terms are
income total amount of money a person earns or gets from another source
occupant someone who lives in, or occupies, a place
landlord the owner (male) of a rental property; landlady (female)
lease a contract for the rental of a car, apartment or other equipment that details terms and length of time
expiration end date; time something finishes
lic. plate license plate; the identification plate on a car
screening the process of checking an applicant's credit and references
reference person listed on an application who can give information about an applicant
relative a family member
declare to state; to tell or give informaion
evicted to be forced to leave a residence, or rental property
terminate the process of ending a term or agreement due to problems with the tenant
alimony money received by an ex-spouse after a divorce
annual yearly; period of time from the start of one year to its end
bankruptcy the state of having been legally declared bankrupt; unable to pay what is owed
deposit an amount of money given as partial payment or security
waive to give something up voluntarily, especially a right or claim
