| Adjacent Angles | Two angles who share a common side and a common vertex |
| Vertical Angles | Two opposite, congruent angles that are formed by two intersecting lines. |
| Alternate Interior Angles | When two lines are cut by a transversal, two angles that are between the lines and on opposite sides of the transversal. |
| Alternate Exterior Angles | When two lines are cut by a transversal, two angles that are outside of the lines and on opposite sides of the transversal. |
| Consecutive Interior Angles | When two lines are cut by a transversal, two angles that are between the lines and on the same side of the transversal. |
| Corresponding Angles | When two lines are cut by a transversal, two angles that are in the same position in respect to the lines and the transversal. |
