Resolution Brings a story to a natural conclusion
Climax The turning point of a story
Exposition The beginning part of a story in which the characters and setting are introduced
Rising Action Main part of a story, contains main events leading up to the climax
Falling Action Part in a story where the main character learns to deal with life after the climax
Problem/Conflict What character struggles with and usually gets the action started
