What is an atom? The basic particle from which all elements are made.
What are the 2 main parts of an atom? The nucleus , protons and neutrons, surrounded by electrons.
What is the basic structure of an atom? A nucleus surrounded by electrons.
What is a molecule? A molecule is when 2 or more atoms are chemically combined by a bond.
What is the relationship between an atom and a molecule? Molecules are made of atoms.
What is the periodic table? The periodic table is a table of elements, showing the symbols for elements, full names, atomic numbers and mass numbers.
What is the symbol for am element? The symbol is 1 or 2 letters that are used to show a chemical element.
What is an element? An element is a pure substance.
What is a compound? A compound is when 2 or more elements are chemically combined.
What is a chemical change? A chemical change is when a substance is changed into another substance, it can't be reversed.
What is a physical change? A physical change is when a substance changes it's apperence, not it's substance, it can be reversed.
What is a chemical reaction? A chemical reaction is the process that leads to a chemical change.
What is a reactant? A reactant is a starting material.
What is a product? A product is what you end up with.
