Lines, Rays, and Angles

| Point | An exact location on a line, a plane or in space |
| Line | a straight path that continues without end in both directions |
| Line Segment | a part of a line that has two endpoints and all the points between them |
| Ray | Part of a line that has one endpoint and continues without end in one direction |
| Plane | A flat surface of points that continues without end in all directions |
| Angle | Two rays with the same endpoint |
| Vertex | The point at which two rays meet to form an angle |
| Protractor | A tool for measuring the size of an angle |
| Degrees (°) | The unit used for measuring the size of an angle |
| Right Angle | An angle that measures 90° |
| Acute Angle | An angle that measures greater than 0° and less than 90° |
| Obtuse Angle | An angle that measures more than 90° and less than 180° |
| Straight Angle | An angle that measures 180° |
| Intersecting Lines | Lines that cross each other to form 4 angles |
| Parallel Line | Lines in a plane that never intersect and are always equal distance apart |
| Perpendicular Lines | Lines that intersect to form 4 right angles |
