mean the average of a set of numbers
median the middle number in a set of data that are arranged in order
mode the number or item that occurs most often in a set of data
translation a movement of a figure to a new position along a straight line, a slide
rotation a movement of a figure to a new position by turning it around a vertex or point of rotation: a turn
reflection a movement of a figure to a new position by flipping it over a line; a flip
sum the answer to an addition problem
addend numbers that are added in an addtion problem
difference the answer to a subtraction problem
product the answer to a multiplication problem
divisor the number that divides the dividend
dividend the number that is to be divided in a division problem
quotient the number, not including the remainder, that results from dividing
