| Onomatopoeia | A noise. Ex. "Boom!!!" |
| Nouns | Person, place, thing or animal. Ex. Boy, Skateboard, Friendly's, Dog. |
| Verbs | Action words. Ex. Run, jump, leap. |
| Subject | Tells who or what the sentance is about. Ex. Maria, The dog, Debby, The lady in the green dress. |
| Predicate | Tells what the person is doing. Ex. Was eating a sandwich, Had a red hat on, sat on my dog. |
