Linear Functions

what is slope- intercept form? y=mx+b
In what form are constant increase or constant decrease situations in? slope-intercept form
when are two lines parallel? If they have the same slope
when does a line have no slope? If it is vertical.
What is a linear combination? When all variables are to the first power and are not multiplied by each other.
Standard form of an equation for a line Ax+By=C
Point-Slope Theorem If a line contains (x*1, y*1), then it has equation y - y*1 = m(x - x*1)
arithmetic sequence A sequence with a constant difference
nth Term of an Arithmetic Sequence The nth term of a*n of an arithmetic sequence with first term a*1 and constant difference d is given by the explicit formula a*n = a*1 + (n - 1)d.
