Quadratic Functions

What is the binomial square theorem? For all real numbers x and y (x+y)^2=x^2=2xy=y^2 (x-y)^2=x^2-2xy+y^2
How do you find the corollary? The image of the parabola y=ax^2 under the translation T h,k is the parabola with the equation y-k=a(x-h)^2.
What graph is the equation y=ax^2+bx+c congruent to? y-ax^2
What is the quadratic formula? x equals negative b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac all over 2a
What is vertex form? y-k=a(x-h)^2
How do you figure out real solutions? 1. 2 real solutions if b^2-4ac>0 2. 1 real solutions if b^2-4ac=0 3. two complex conjugate solutions if b^2-4ac<0
What does i (imaginary number) equal? i squared equals negative one and the square root of i equals negative one
