Poetry Structure

QuestionAnswer
Caesura A break in the middle of a line.
Enjambment A sentence that continues over more than one line.
Stanza One verse.
Couplet A pair of rhyming lines.
Juxtaposition Putting together two ideas to create a specific effect.
Concrete Poetry Varying the layout of a poem to create a visual effect.
