| Conjecture | A statement that may be true based upon observations and patterns. |
| Conditional statement | A statement expressed in if-then form. |
| Acute Angle | An angle measuring less than 90 degrees. |
| angle bisector | A ray or line that divides an angle into two congruent angles. |
| collinear | 2 or more points on the same line. |
| midpoint | A midpoint of a segment divides the segment into two segment of equal length. |
| congruent segments | Segments that have the same length. |
| supplementary angles | 2 angles whose sum of measures is 180 degrees. |
| complementary angles | 2 angles whose sum of measures is 90 degrees. |
| symmetric property of equality | if a = b then b = a. |
| Parallel Lines | 2 lines on the same plane that never intersect. |
| Skew Lines | 2 lines not on the same plane. |
| Consecutive Interior Angle | Two angles on the same side of the tranversal that are between 2 given lines. |
| Perpendicular Lines | 2 lines that meet to form right angles. |
| Slope | The ratio of rise to run. |
| Slope-Intercept Form | y=mx + b |
| Point-Slope form | y-y1 = m(x - x1) |
| X intercept | A point on the x axis with y value of 0. |
| y intercept | A point on the y axis with x value of 0. |
