point a point is located in a figure, points are represented by a dot. poinst are named by captial letters
line a line is made up of two points and has no thickness or width. in a figure, a line us shown with an arrowedhead at each end.lines are usually named by a lowercase letter or by writing captial letters for two points on the line,with a double arrow over.
collinear point that lie on th same line
coplanar points that lie on the same plane
space a bounbless three-dimensional set of all points
locus the set of pints that satisfy a given condition
line segment a mesurable part of a line hat consists of two points, called endpoints, and all of the points between them
congruent having the same measure
construction a method of cresting geometric figures without the benefits of measuring tools. generally, only a pencil, straightedge, and compass are used.
precision the precision of any mesurement depends on the smallest unit available on the mesuring tool.
midpoint the point halfway between the endpoints of a segment
