haven A place of saftey; a sanctuary The Garden of Eden was a haven for all things.
immaterial Of little or no importance; irrelevant In the big plan all of the parts seemed immaterial because of the huge outcome.
innate Possessed from birth; inborn; inherent When the child was born its parents kept it and it became an innate.
kindle 1. To set fire to; to catch fire 2. To arouse feelings; to stir emotion When I went camping I had to kindle the fire to keep it alive.
listless Lacking energy; unenthusiastic If a small child is listless than something is probably wrong.
meager Lacking abundance; inadequate; scanty When the servant showed his master the work the master said it was meager.
octogenarian Someone between 80 and 89 years old My grandpa was an octogenarian before he passed away.
permeate To spread or flow throughout; to penetrate throughout I knew that the sponge wasn't full when the water permeated in it.
republic A govornment in which officials elect officials to represent them In the USA we have a republic/democrat government.
tether 1. A rope or chain used to restrain 2. To use a rope to chain or restrain At my country club we have a ball tethered to a pole.
badger To harass persistantly: to annoy My sister badgers me when she wants to play with me.
benevolent Showing doing or resulting in good; kindhearted I try to be benevolent all year.
