Atoms Vocab

A study stack on atom vocab, you have to answer each term with its definition.

QuestionAnswer
Electron Cloud Region surrounding the nucleus that contains the electrons.
Mass Number Number of protons plus the number of neutrons in an atom.
Metals Generally have a shiny or metallic luster and are good conductors of heat and electricity.
Nonmetals Usually dull in appearance and most are poor conductors of heat and electricity.
Neutron Neutrally charged particle in an atom.
Electrons Negatively charged particles in an atom.
Substance Matter that has the same composition and properties throughout.
Isotopes Atoms of the same element that have different numbers of neutrons.
