Bar Graphs: a way to present statistical data. can be vertical and can be horizontal.
drawing bar graphs: have title axis must be labeled must have accurate scale that is relevant data.
averages: there are three types of averages such as mean medium and mode.
what is mean medium and mode? mean: add all the values. than divide by the sum of the number of values. medium: the middle result and mode:value that occurs the most frequent.
quadrilaterals: plain shape with four straight sides.
angle sum in quadrilateral all angels in a quadrilateral is 360 degrees.
angles in a triangle angles in a triangle equal to 180 degrees.
what are the meanings of: equaltrial triangle-all angles are equal. isosceles triangle-two equal angles opisite the equal sides. scalene-no two sides are equal.
triangles(angle names) acute angled triangle- the 3 angles in the triangle are acute. obtuse angled triangle- contains one obtuse angle. right angled triangle- contains one right angled.
equations equations are number sentences. they have a left hand side and a right hand side that are equal and equal sign.
using pro numerals pro numerals are a letter in an equation that represents an unknown quantity. it is usually and x or y but any letter can be used. the value of the unknown pro numeral is known as the solution it is solved using backtracking.
