What is a Collinear set of points? A set of points which all lie on the same straight line.
What is a non-collinear set of points? A set of three or more points that do not lie on the same straight line.
What is a Line Segment? A set of points consisting of two points on a line, called endpoints, and all the points on the line between the endpoints.
What are congruent segments? Segments that have the same measure.
What is a midpoint of a line segment? A point on that line segment that divides the segment into two congruent segments.
What is a Bisector of a line segment? Any line or subset of a line that intersects the segment at its midpoint.
What is an angle? A set of points that is the union of two rays having the same endpoint.
What does a ray consist of? A point on a line and all points on one side of the point.
What is a straight angle? A angle that is the union of opposite rays.
What is an acute angle? An angle whose degree measure is greater than 0 and less than 90.
What is a right angle? An angle whose degree measure is 90.
What is a obtuse angle? An angle whose degree measure is greater than 90 and less than 180.
What is a congruent angle? Angles that have the same measure.
What is a bisector of an angle? A ray whose endpoint is the vertex of the angle, and that divides that angle into two congruent angles.
What are perpendicular line? Two lines that intersect to form two right angles.
What is a scalene triangle? A triangle with no congruent sides.
What is a isosceles triangle? A triangle with two congruent sides.
What is an equilateral triangle? A triangle that has three congruent sides.
