| Identity Property of Addition | 5 + 0 = 5 |
| Identity Property of Multiplication | 7(1) = 7 |
| Inverse Property of Addition | 6 + (-6) = 0 |
| Inverse Property of Multiplication | 3(1/3) = 1 |
| Symmetric Property | if a = b then b = a |
| Addition and Multiplication Property of Equality | if a = b then a + 5 = b + 5 |
| Addition and Multiplication Property of Inequality | if a < b then 3a < 3b |
| Zero Product Property | If ab = 0 then a = 0 or b = 0 and (x-5)(x+2)=0 then x = 5 or x = -2 |

| Surface Area | the sum of the areas of each of the sides of a three-dimensional object |

| Constant | the y-intercept when an equation is in slope-intercept form |
| Linear Inequality | has many solution, has no exponents |
| x-intercept | where the y coordinate equals 0, where the graph crosses the x axis |

| Slope-Intercept Form | y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept |

| Line of Best Fit | a line given from a scatter plot that estimates the equation |
