Theorems regarding parallel and perpendicular lines.

If two parallel lines are crossed by a transversal, then same side exterior angles are... supplementary.
If two lines intersect, then... vertical angles are congruent.
If two lines and a transversal form alternate interior angles that are congruent, then... the lines are parallel.
If two lines and a transversal form alternate exterior angles that are congruent, then... the lines are parallel.
If two lines and a transversal form same side interior angles that are congruent, then... the lines are parallel.
If two lines and a transversal form same side exterior angles that are congruent, then... the lines are parallel.
