QuestionAnswer
Central angle Central angles are angles in which the vertex of the angle is the center of a circle.
Circle The set of all points in a plane that are the same distance, called the radius, from a given point, called the center.
Circle Graph Shows how parts relate to a whole and to each other
Circumference The distance around a circle.
Chord A chord is a line segment between two points on a circle.
Diameter The line segment that goes through the center of the circle and whose endpoints are on the circumference of the circle is called a diameter. The length of this line segment is also called the diameter
Degree A unit for measuring angles
Pi The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter
Protractor A measuring device that can be used to approximate the measure of an angle
Radius The distance from the center of a circle to any point on the circle
Sector Pie-shaped sections on a circle graph to represent portions of the data or percentage of the whole
