What is a solid? A state of matter with a definite volume and a definite shape
What is a liquid? A state of matter with a definite volume, but no definite shape; A liquid takes the shape of its container
What is a gas? A state of matter that does not have a definite volume or a definite shape
What is the difference between a Pure Substance and a mixture? The difference between a pure substance and a mixture are pure substance has only 1 type of particle and a mixture has 2 or more particles in it.
Is distilled water a pure substance or a mixture? Distilled water is a pure substance
Is apple juice a mixture or a pure substance? Apple juice is a mixture because it has suger particles, flavour particles, and vitamn particles
Describe a Heterogeneus mixture A heterogeneus mixture is a mixture where you can see the different particles
Describe a Homogeneus mixture A homogeneus mixture is a mixture where you cant see the different particles
