factors The numbers multiplied together to find a product. Example: 3 x 6 = 18
array A way of displaying objects in rows and columns
multiple the product of any two whole numbers
product the answer to a multiplication problem
Identity Property of Multiplication the product of any number and one is that number
Commutative Property of Multiplication Factors can be multiplied in any order and the product remains the same
Distributive Property Breaking apart problems into two simpler problems. Example: (3 x 21) = (3 x 20) + (3 x 1)
Zero Property of Multiplication The product of any number and zero is zero.
