The Periodic Table

Elements 1-12, metals, nonmetals, and metalloids.

Describe a metalloid. Metalloids are partially conductive, solid, brittle, and they have a metallic luster.
Describe a nonmetal. Brittle, non-malleable or ductile, poor conductors, and they tend to gain electrons in chemical reactions
Describe metals. Solid (with the exception of mercury), shiny, conductive, ductile, and malleable.
