Associative Propety Always Same: Think moving cheeks. (a+b)+c=(a+b)+c
Inverse Property Opposite! (a) + (-a) = 0 1/a * a/1 = 1 EX. 8+(-8) = 0 1/9 + 9/1 = 1
Distributive Property Distribute a number through a parenthesis and watch for negatives! The signs always goes with the number behind it! a(b+c)=ab+ac 3(a+6) = 3a+18
Identity Property No one can change you! a + 0=a A*1=A 4*1=4 31+0= 31
