| mouse | what you use to move the arrows around on the screen. |
| cursor | the arrows or little flashing line on your computer screen that points to things |
| monitor | the computer screen where you see words,pictures and videos. |
| laptop | a small computer that is easy to move or carry. |
| internet | a world wide system of millions of computers that are connected together in a network |
| cyberspace | the world that connects the computers to the internet |
| internet address | it is like your address but it takes letters and numbers to a certain site |
| url | this is another way to say internet address |
| website | a place on the web that has stuff to read and see |
| instant messaging | messages you can exchange back and forth to your friends. |
| chat room | a place to talk by typing to the other people in the chatroom. |

| spam | junk mail sent to your email box that is usually advertiseing something |

| password | a secret word you and maybe your parents know |
| blog | short for web blog |
| pop up | an ad tring to be clicked on |
