Pre- and Post

QuestionAnswer
Prevent to stop something from happening before it occurs.
Prefix a syllabe or word that comes before a root word that changes its meaning.
Precaution A measure taken in advance to preven harm.
Predict To say what will happen before it occurs.
Precede To come before something in time, order, or rank.
Posthumous Occuring or continuing after death.
Postscript A comment, note, or thought written after the letter is written. (P.S.)
Postmark A mark printed across a stamp after it is received by the post office.
Postpone To do something at a time or date after it is originally planned.
Postdate To write on something the date that comes after the real date.
