Person, Place, or Thing Ex: Apple LAPTOPS are very user friendly. Noun
Takes the place of a noun Ex: THEY are very user friendly. Pronoun
Modifies the adjective, verb, or other adverb. Tells how, when where, and to what extent. Ex: I QUICKLY ran to my locker before class started. Adverb
Modifies nouns Ex: APPLE laptops are very user friendly. Adjectives
Verb but not behaving like a verb. Ex: She prefers colored pencils for DRAWING. Verbal
Gives location of something. Ex: Her dog ran AROUND the yard. Preposition
