PREMEPTORY Refractory or unruly: a fractious animal that would not submit to the harness. readily angered; peevish; irritable; quarrelsome: an incorrigibly fractious young man.
CONTIGUOUS touching; in contact. in close proximity without actually touching; near. adjacent in time: contiguous events
HAUTEUR haughty manner or spirit; arrogance.
PUNCTILIOUS Extremely attentive to punctilios; strict or exact in the observance of the formalities or amenities of conduct or actions.
SOMNAMBULISM Sleep walking: The act or an instance of walking or performing another activity associated with wakefulness while asleep or in a sleeplike state. Also called noctambulism, somnambulism.
DENIZEN 1.an inhabitant;resident 2. a person who regularly frequents a place; habitué: the denizens of a local bar. 3.British. An alien admitted to residence and to certain rights of citizenship in a country. 4.anything adapted to a new place, condition, etc
POSTERN 1.a back door or gate. 2.a private entrance or any entrance other than the main one. 3.(adj)of, pertaining to, or resembling a postern.
NEBULOUS (adj)1.hazy, vague, indistinct, or confused: a nebulous recollection of the meeting; a nebulous distinction between pride and conceit. 2.cloudy or cloudlike. 3.of or resembling a nebula or nebulae; nebular.
MERETRICIOUS (adj) 1. alluring by a show of flashy or vulgar attractions; tawdry. 2.based on pretense, deception, or insincerity. 3.Pertaining to or characteristic of a prostitute.
EUPHEMISM (noun)1.the substitution of a mild, indirect, or vague expression for one thought to be offensive, harsh, or blunt. 2. the expression so substituted: “To pass away” is a euphemism for “to die.”

SUPERCILIOUS (adj)1.haughtily disdainful or contemptuous, as a person or a facial expression.
COMPLACENCY (noun)1.a feeling of quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger, defect; self-satisfaction or smug satisfaction with an existing situation, condition.2.Archaic:friendly civility;inclination to please;complaisance.civil act
