acute angle an angle that has a measure less than a right angle (less than 90.)
angle a figure formed by two rays that have acommon end point.
base the bottom of a figure.
capacity the amount a container can hold when filled.
closed figure a figure with no open spaces in its sides.
congruent having the same size and shape.
face a polygon that is a flat surface of a solid figure.
flip a movement of a figre to a new position by flipping the figure over the line.
height the length of a perpendicular from the base to the top of a plane figure or solid figure.
intersection lines that cross each other at exactly one point.
line a staright line that goes on forever in opposite directions.
line segment a part of a line that includes two points, called endpoints, and all the points between them.
parallel lines lines in a plane that never intersect.
