Congruent Angles Angles that measure the same
Conversion Factor Changes something to a different version or form
Dilation Changes the size of the image
Proportion Shows that two ratios are equal
Rate Ratio between two measurements
Ratio Compares two numbers
Scale Factor Number that scales or multiplies an equality
Unit Rate A ratio that is used to compare different kinds of quantities.
Percent Change Expresses a change in a variable
Complementary Angles 2 angles that add up to 90 degrees
Congruent Angles that are the same
Line Segment A part of a line between 2 endpoints
Parallel Lines Lines that lie in the same plane, and are the same distance apart over their entire length. They will never intersect.
Parallelogram A shape with 2 parallel lines
Perpendicular Lines Lines that form congruent adjacent angles
Polygon A closed figure with 3 or more straight sides
Reflection An image that is flipped over the plane
Regular Polygon A polygon with all sides and all angles equal
Rhombus A quadrilateral whose four sides all have the same length.
Rotation The spin of a shape on it's axis
Supplementary Angles 2 angles that add up to 180 degrees
Tessellation A repeating pattern of shapes with no gaps or spaces.
Translation Moving an object on a plane without rotating or resizing.
Trapezoid A quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides
Vertical Angles The angles opposite each other when two lines cross
Factorial 5!=5x4x3x2x1
Slope (x1, y1) and (x 2, y 2)
