algebraic expression an expression that contains at least one variable

range the difference between the greatest and the least values in a set data
base wnen a number is raised to a power; the number that is used as a factor is a base
center (of a circle) the point inside a circle that is the same distance from all the points on the any angle of the circle
common multiples a number that is the multiple of each two or more numbers. 15 is a common multiple of 3 and 5
