Systems of linear equations, or linear systems Two or more linear equations in the same variables.
Solutions of a system of linear equations An ordered pair (x,y) is a solution of a linear equation if the equation is true when the values of x and y are substituted into the equation.
Linear combination An equation obtained by adding one of two equations (or a multiple of one of the equations) to the other equation in a linear system.
System of linear inequalities Two or more linear inequalites in the same variables.
Solution of a system of linear inequalities An ordered pair (x,y) is solution of linear inequality if the inequality is true when the values of x and y are substituted into the inequality.
Graph of a system of linear inequalities The graph of all solutions of the system.
