Indefinite and Negative Words

If a negative word comes AFTER a verb, what is needed? There must be a "no" directly in FRONT of the verb.
You, sir, need nothing. Usted no necesita nada.
I need nobody. No necesito a nadie.
He sees no one. No ve a nadie.
We buy nothing. No compramos nada.
We buy something Compramos algo.
He waits for someone. Espera a alguien.
