aesthetic relating to beauty or branch philosophy of artm beauty & taste
allegory literary narritive that has a specific symbolic meaning of something real ex: Animal Farm
alliteration repitition of sounds in beginning of words ex: peter picked a patch of pickles!
allusion in lit, referance to historical or literary person, place, event. Ex: Jhon 3:16 in ATOTC
anachronism misplacement of an idea, obj, or custom in time ex:Grell's Chainsaws in 'Black Butler' (1800s)
anadipolosis repition of a word at the end of a phrase or sentence ex: Cain mixed the poisons. The poisons were deadly.
analogy referance between 2 things that are otherwise unlike. comparison abstract, easier to visualize. Ex: when Sebastian was trying to kill Clause it was like trying to kill the devil.
anaphora repition of word or phrase at begingin of sentences. Ex: Katou was really in love w/ Iwaki. Katou was really trying hard to impress Iwaki.
antagonist obstacle or opposer in the protagonist
