Lord Henry convinced Dorian that he should never speak of what had happened between himself & Sybil, and to think of her death as a perfect artistic representation of undying love, or a tragic love story.

Basil both asks & begs Dorian to lend him the portrait he had painted of him to display it at an exhibit. What was Dorian's reaction? Dorian refused to Basil to lend him the portrait to be displayed at an exhibit.
After Basil changes his mind to display the portrait, what did Dorian ask Basil and what was Basil's response. Dorian asked why Basil did not want to display the portrait. Basil responded that it had revealed his obsession of him.
Who did Dorian ask to move the painting to the old schoolroom? He asked a frame-maker and the frame-maker's assistant to move. He also made sure that it was covered so no one could see the changing portrait.
What did Dorian discover regarding the portrait Basil had given him? The portrait had changed to something that brought up evil rather than joy. It had altered something of cruel-looking starting around the mouth.
