Niels Bohr 1915 Proposed a planetary model of the atom to explain bright light spectra.
Bright Light Spectrum Wavelengths of light released when electricity is passed through a sample of an element.

Erwin Schrondinger Created an equation to explain this. But in order to solve this he needed to look at electrons as both waves and particles!
created This lead to the invention of the wave-mechanical model of an atom and This was the birth of quantum theory
new model Electrons are found in orbitals!  Not Orbits
orbitals 3 dimensional region where Electrons are most likely to be found o We can never know for sure
how do we describe an electrons position But we can describe an electrons position using quantum numbers! o An electrons address!
