| composite number | A whole number greater than 1 with more than two factors. |
| prime number | A whole number greater than 1 that has exactly two factors, itself and 1. |
| factor tree | A diagram that shows the prime factorization of composite number. |
| prime factorization | The process of writing whole numbers as a product of it prime factors. |
