Some ways the inner planets are alike. They all have rocky surfaces. The are warmer than the other planets because they are closer to the sun. They are smaller than MOST of the outer planets. None of them has more than two moons.
Some ways the outer planets are alike. They are made mostly of frozen gases. They are very far from the sun, so their surfaces are much colder than the innner planets. All but Pluto are much larger than the inner planets.
